Deanna Colella

Deanna Colella, age 88, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025.Beloved daughter of the late James and Christine (nee Kraber) Colella; dearest sister of the late Rita and James; loving aunt of several nieces and nephews; and devoted friend to many, especially Janice Seger, with whom she had been friends for over 56 years.

Deanna had worked in her mother's restaurant, Tina's Tavern, when she was young. She spent most of her career working as an electrical draftswoman at Square D, before the company relocated to another state. After that, she returned to the restaurant industry as a waitress at Betty Boop's Kitchen, where her outgoing nature and love of people made her a favorite of customers!

Deanna also had a love of the outdoors and particularly fishing, which began with trips to Lake Erie as a child with her mother, and continued with her own trips to fish the waters of Pymatuning Lake as an adult. She also liked camping and spent many happy hours, be it in tents or a camper, at Holiday Camplands.

She also had many indoor interests as well, including playing cards and gambling. Whether it was the slots or table games, casinos were a favorite spot to relax and try her luck!

Deanna had a deep soft spot for dogs and she was broken hearted when she lost her last furry friend, Dominique.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Rd,, Parma, OH 44129. Visitation will conclude with prayers at 4:00 PM.

Following cremation by Busch Crematory, interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield on a date and time to be announced.
