Deanna Joy Servick

Deanna Joy Servick of Rochester passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Samaritan Bethany on 8th.

Deanna was born on March 28, 1937, in Rochester MN to Ellsworth and Helen (Ranfranz) Wolfgram. She met her husband, Paul Servick, in Tarkio Missouri while attending college. On June 26, 1959, they were married at Peace Church in Rochester MN.

Deanna and Paul started their family in the Pittsburgh PA area before making their home and raising their two sons in Rochester MN. Deanna's career at Mayo Clinic spanned over 30 years, first in the publishing department, then in editing, and eventually helping the Mayo Medical School students with financial aid. Deanna retired from Mayo Clinic in December of 1994. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with Paul at their lake cabin near Siren WI, where they looked forward to hosting family and friends each year. She was very active in Peace Church, played in a bowling league for many years, and loved to attend high school sporting events, even after her sons graduated. Her greatest joy was spending time with family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and we will miss her dearly.

Deanna is survived by two sons, Charlie (Susie) Servick and Don Servick (Karen Williams); five grandchildren, Graham Servick, Paige Servick, Lauren Servick, Leah Schroetter (Jacob) and Emily Servick; 2 great grandchildren, Olivia and Cooper Schroetter; 2 brothers, Dennis (Charlotte) Wolfgram and Kenneth (Jan) Wolfgram, and five nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by Ellsworth and Helen (Ranfranz) Wolfgram, and husband of 63 years, Paul Servick.

A Service will be held at Peace United Church of Christ, 1503 2nd Ave NE on October 25, 2024. Visitation at 10:00, Service at 11:00 with family gathering following the service at the Church.
