Debbie Herman

Deborah Kay Herman (Debbie) was born September 6, 1953 in Oklahoma City, the third child of Harold and Martha Herman. She lived her entire life in south OKC, attended OKC public schools and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1971.
Debbie began working at the Federal Reserve Bank in 1974 and retired in 2009 completing 35 years of service. She enjoyed her work and made several long-lasting friends during her tenure.
After retiring, she cared for her mother until her passing in 2011, time she wouldn't have traded for anything.
Debbie was Christian by faither, attending several south side Baptist churches. She was also an avid bowler for 15 years.
In 1981 she united with Ocie Fowler, whom she met while working at the bank. They were together until his passing in 2014.
She enjoyed taking vacations with family and friends, going on multiple cruises. Her favorite being the trip she and Ocie took to Spain and Italy.
Debbie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mattie Lott, her parents, her sister Barbara Roberts, brother Karl Herman, her beloved Ocie Fowler, step-daughter Lisa Fowler, and uncle Verlon. She is survived by her nephew Heath Karbs and his wife Tina, April Cocherell and children Gavin and Alivia Cocherell, Abby and Ethan Weber, Arin Karbs and Byran Cook, AKA The Crazy Bunch, as well as her aunt Teresa Lott and their family.
