Deborah “Debbie” Ann Crowe Snuggs, 69, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center.
Mrs. Snuggs was born April 20, 1956, in Warrenton, Virginia, to Joe William Crowe and Evelyn Phillips Crowe. Debbie graduated from VCU with a mathematics degree and went to work for IBM in the federal systems division in Manassas, VA. She and Bob lived in Gainseville, VA, until his death when she relocated to Homestead Hills in Winston-Salem. Debbie was very committed to her career in software engineering, and loved to read and solve Sudoku puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Snuggs; and her stepson, Robbie.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Susan Jefferies (Tim); her niece, Lauren Filipponi (Adam); her nephew, Joseph Jefferies (Katie); and other numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Emmanuel Baptist Church 8006 Centreville Rd, Manassas, VA 20111.
