Deborah Jane Barker

Deborah Jane Barker, age 72, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, in Zolfo Springs, Florida. She was born in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee on January 16, 1954, to John Thomas Dickey and Alma Lemay. She had lived in the Zolfo Springs for 62 years where she worked at FINR in Wauchula, Florida. She attended First Christian Church of Wauchula, Florida. Deborah loved reading, loved the beach, and most of all loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, caring sister, and loyal partner to Loren Albritton.

She is survived by her children: Richard (Carly) Torres of Parrish , Florida, Jeannie (Terrance) Myrick of Lakeland, Florida and Bobbie (Daniel) Patterson of Wauchula, Florida, Brothers; John Dickey, Kenneth Dickey, Sisters; Wanda Dickey, Janice Dickey and Donna Waters, as well as three grandchildren; Ella Torres, Samuel Torres, Maverick Pleger, and many bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father; John Thomas Dickey, mother; Alma Dickey, husband; Bobby Barker, brothers; Robert Dickey, Larry Dickey and sister; Darlene Butler.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00am at Wauchula City Cemetery.
