Deborah Marie Barlow

October 20, 1957 – May 25, 2024
Deborah Marie Barlow, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the age of 66, in the arms of her daughters, Sarah and Dorothy, at Lyman and Dorothy's home in Centennial Park, Arizona. She was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in October 2023 but had suffered with the condition for several years.
Deborah was born October 20, 1957, as the 4th child of Isaac Winford and Dorothy Hancock Barlow in Salt Lake City, Utah. She joined W. Steve and Anne Rains Barlow in marriage on October 2, 1975. They later welcomed her sister, Kathleen, into the family.
Deborah loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and spent her whole life serving others. She enjoyed having conversations about the gospel. She always exhibited great faith in the Lord and was a firm believer in the principle of plural marriage. Deborah loved spending time with her many grandchildren and made it a point to always attend their birthday parties, giving gifts that were unique and personal. She went out of her way to make everyone feel special. She was a dedicated homeschool teacher and especially loved teaching first-grade children how to read.
Deborah is survived by her mom, husband, two sister-wives, 10 biological children Aprille (David), Dorothy (Lyman), Ephraim (Erica, Eileen, and Josephine), Violet (Mitchell), Sarah (David), Seth (Trudy), Mary (Shem), Albert (Kimberlie), Rebekah (Joseph), and Porter (Lilly and Abigail), 29 other children (Anne's) Steven, Lee, Nephi, Jacob, Samuel, Heidi, Ianthius, Elizabeth, Abraham, Robin, Joseph, Mark, Bonnie, Nathaniel, Angel, Charity, and (Kathleen's) Ammon, James, Levi, Eli, Asenath, Caleb, Eliza Roxcy, Hannah, John, Lorin, Jannetta, Shadrach, and Wilford, 54 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 29 siblings. She was preceded in death by her dad, other mother and friend Aunt Nette, brother Levi, sister Barbara, granddaughter Erica, and Anne's daughter Spring.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Holm Heritage Center, 1055 North Carling Street, Hildale, Utah 84784. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 12:00 PM, with a viewing at 10:30 AM at the same location. The interment will be at Terre Verda Memorial Gardens, 2280 South Richard Street (400 West), Centennial Park, Arizona 86021.
