HILLSBOROUGH-Deborah Ann Black Belvin, 73, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Hock Pavillon in Durham. She was born on February 23, 1952 to the late Cooper Malcolm Black and Doris Rembert Black.
Mrs. Belvin was an active member at Cross Link in Hillsborough. She gave her life to Christ at the age of 12 years old and has been a faithful believer since. She loved her Lord and Savior. She was a devoted wife of 47 years to Conner and together they raised two daughters and were gifted 6 grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
Mrs. Belvin is survived by her husband, William Conner Belvin; brothers, Mark (Cheri) Black and Malcolm (Paula) Black; sister, Jean (Bill) Carden; daughters, McKenzie (James) Schalla and Cassidy (Will) Foushee; grandchildren, James Schalla IV, Abigail Schalla, Lyla Schalla, Weston Schalla, Emory Foushee and Liam Foushee; twin cousin, Vonda Cecil; dog, Scout.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at Crosslink Church of Hillsborough on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with the Rev. Jacob Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane, NC.
Flowers are acceptable or memorial donations may be made to Crosslink Church in Hillsborough at 660 Cornelius St, Hillsborough, NC 27278.
