Newborns in Need, Springfield MO Chapter – from their website,
"When a child is born into a needy family, they may only have a shirt and diaper to leave the hospital. When they arrive home, if there is a home, there may not even be a warm blanket or quilt to wrap them. Newborns In Need changes that scenario." Contact (417) 881-2229 if you are interested in donating. Either monetary or in-kind donations are welcome.
K9s for Warriors – from their website,
"Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military Veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs being rescues, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery."
