Deborah Lee Diffendal

Deborah L. Diffendal, age 68, proudly of Ivyland, PA, passed away peacefully in Hatboro on March 1,
2024. Debbie was the wife of Dennis J. Diffendal. They were married on May 8, 1993, and enjoyed 29 years of marriage together.
Born and raised in Conshohocken PA, Debbie was the daughter of the late
Leo and Ruth Flynn. Debbie was a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in 1973. She was a LPN with Sacred Heart Hospital School Practical Nursing, and with her Associates degree from Montgomery County Community College, became a Registered Nurse in March 1990. Debbie's life was selflessly and passionately devoted to the care of others at their greatest time of need, including working for Sacred Heart of Norristown, and then retiring from Majestic Oaks nursing home after 19 years of dedicated service. Debbie enjoyed cooking and gardening, and loved time spent at the beach.
In addition to her beloved husband, Debbie is survived by her brothers Thomas (Jeffrey) and Edward
(Karen); and brother/sister in-laws James (Judy) Diffendal, Richard (Sandy) Diffendal, John Diffendal,
Marie Breidenbach (Dallas), Mark (Trish) Diffendal, and David (Diana) Diffendal; and many nieces and
nephews. Debbie was predeceased by her sisters-in-laws Susan Diffendal, Jean Diffendal, and brother-in-law Gregg Diffendal.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 York Rd, Hatboro, PA from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with her Memorial Service starting at 12 p.m. Her interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to John Paul II Center for Special Learning, 1092 Welsh Road, Shillington, PA 19607.
