Mrs. Debbie Goodrum, age 68, of Franklin, KY passed away Friday, January 29th, 2021 at 3:22 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1st, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 from 6:00 AM until funeral service time.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in Round Pond Church Cemetery in Simpson County.

Debbie was born on May 27th, 1952 to the late Elbert Jesse Meador and the late Billie Lane Meador.  She is also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Joe Meador.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Goodrum; 3 children, Wayne Goodrum (Tammy) of Franklin, KY, Brent Goodrum (Angie) of Franklin, KY and Leslie Goodrum (Ashlie) of Franklin, KY; 7 grandchildren, Bo Goodrum, Ben Goodrum, Brady Goodrum, Lane Goodrum, Garrett Goodrum, Emma Claire Goodrum and Zander Goodrum; 2 great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Charlotte; a sister, Jane Meador Carter of Franklin, KY; a sister-in-law, Scottie Meador; and several nieces and nephews.

Debbie was a member of Round Pond Church in Simpson County.  She was a 1970 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School in Franklin, KY.  Debbie graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education.  She worked as a teacher at Westmoreland High School.  Debbie was a former member of the Emmaus Community of Bowling Green, KY.  She and Jerry loved to socialize and eat at the Hot Plate.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are to be made to the Round Pond Share Fund, 250 Round Pond Church Rd. Franklin, KY. 42134, ATTN:  Round Pond Secretary.
