To Mr. Ernest and his family, I am so shocked to learn of Debbie's passing. Debbie was so caring and so talented. I know she will be missed by so many. Although, I know she will be reunited with her dear friend, Ruth Walker, my mother, in heaven and they will be laughing and having a good ole time! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this sad time.

Debbie and I worked together for several years. I am extremly saddened by the news of her passing. I will alsways remember Debbie and cherish the time I had to get to know her. Once someone got to know Debbie you realized how big of a heart she truly had.

My deepest condolences on Debbie's passing. I came on board with Earth Tech in April 2001. It didn't take long to figure out that Debbie was quite the baker and celebrated everyone's birthday, starting with an obnoxious orange singing mechanical cake, followed by a series of delicious treats. "Goodies" were a usual addtion to our plan laydown area. She took glee in decorating my cube for my 40th birthday. Lots of black ... on the floor, the desk, the ceiling ... everywhere! The following Christmas, she brought in rum balls, with which I was totally unfamiliar. I had no idea they were "no bake" until I had wolfed half a dozen in rapid succession. (That was some serious Christmas cheer !!!) I got the recipe from her a couple of years ago, and have been providing rum balls for our office in since. They are ALWAYS well received. Be assured that Debbie's memory will live on and that all of us who worked with her at Earth Tech will miss her.

I have many fond memories of Debbie and am glad I was able to add some joy to her life when I helped her get Sunny and Patch. She will be greatly missed.

I knew Debbie from her time in Quinton, probably back into the late 1970s and 1980s. She was President of the Auxiliary at the Quinton Volunteer Fire Department. We had so much fun during those days. During one of our turkey dinner fundraisers, we ran out of turkey, so Debbie sent the firemen up to Golden Skillet Chicken to get buckets of chicken to feed everyone. We laughed about that for years! I last saw Debbie maybe 6 months ago, quite by chance, at Chesterfield Town Center. She was as surprised as I was to see each other so far from New Kent County; it had been many years since we talked. It was good to see her and catch up. I am very sorry she is gone. I know you will miss your sister, aunt, and daughter.

As we go through life, we never have an idea of how many lives we touch or how we will be remembered. I hope it helps to know that I will always remember Debbie. We shared a moment of time. She was a fun, dedicated, and caring person--someone good, and that's a blessing.
