I miss you, Mom. I was researching our family tree and didn't even realize this would pop up. Nothing is the same without you. I need you here. I'm proud you fought to live. You were a shining light and I want people to remember you that way. Someday, I'll see you again. All will be right then. We miss you. Fly, but stay close, too. You're my hero, the wind beneath my wings. Always.

I miss Debi so much, even after all of these years. I think of her often and fondly remember our times together...especially the time I had a jar full of tadpoles in my lap as she drove. They were for her pond. We clicked and I adored her.
