Deborah Frost, age 90, of Overland Park, Kansas, entered into eternal rest on December 22, 2024 at The Healthcare Resort of Olathe.
Deborah was born June 7, 1934 to John and Alice (Young) Frost in Kansas City, MO. Ms. Frost was a life-long area resident. She was a graduate of Shawnee Mission High School in 1952, and also received an associates degree in liberal arts from The College for Women in Greenbrier, West Virginia.
She was a member of the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, and a Belle of the American Royal. She enjoyed volunteering for various organizations throughout the Kansas City area. Deborah was a devoted mother to six children, grandmother to 14 and great-grandmother to 10. Beyond her role as a loving mother, her biggest passion was her love of dogs. She consistently donated to various animal organizations. Deborah, or Nana, as she is called, will be remembered by her youthful appearance and smile, her love for babies, and enjoying large family gatherings.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Nicholas Frost, Sr. and Alice Young Frost, her brother John Nicholas Frost, Jr., ex-husband Richard L. Glenn, father of her children, and sons John Blakely Glenn and Richard Christopher Glenn.
Deborah is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Guttu (Mark), Barbara Rusnak (Bob), Elizabeth Warren (Dick) and Laura Cheshire (Glenn). The family would like to express their gratitude to The Healthcare Resort of Olathe and St. Croix Hospice care team for the care and compassion for our mother.
