Deborah D. Heard, passed away peacefully at her home in Saucier, Mississippi on October 4, 2023. She was born on January 27, 1957, in her hometown of Gulfport, Mississippi.
She was a loving mother to her three children, Chris (Rachel) Heard, Lindsey Heard, and Jessie (Wes) Heard. She cherished the role of being a grandmother to her two grandchildren, Trinity and Caiden Heard. Deborah is also survived by her mother Alice Parker, and her brothers JE 'Bird' Parker and Jimmy (Sherry) Parker. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded, her in death by her husband of 28 years Frank Heard, her father J.C. Parker and a sister Kim Renfroe.
Graduate of Harrison Central High School. Deborah possessed an excellent work ethic and dedication that led her to become an exceptional office manager at Gulfport Urology Clinic, for many years before their closing. Her colleagues admired her professionalism and commitment to ensuring everything ran smoothly within the office. Deborah's attention to detail and caring nature left a lasting impact on both staff and patients alike.
Outside of work, Deborah found solace in various hobbies. For many years, she played travel softball and enjoyed the camaraderie of being part of a team. Nature brought her joy as she enjoyed spending time outside tending to her yard. Deborah found peace in cultivating beauty around her.
To honor Deborah's memory, visitation will be held on October 11th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, in Gulfport. A funeral service will follow at the same location, starting at 2:00 PM. Deborah will be laid to rest in Saucier Cemetery during a private burial ceremony.
Deborah D. Heard will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her unwavering dedication, gentle spirit, and genuine kindness touched the lives of those around her. May her soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that she has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
