Deborah Jean Henry, 73, of Greenville, wife of the late J.R. Henry, died Friday, April 4, 2025.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances McJunkin O'Shields.
Deb was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church, and was the founding member of the Peters Creek Quilting Club along with her sister and best friend, Bonnie Zucchi. She retired from the Post Office in 2014 after 20+ years of service. Deb enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandkids and her great grandkids. She was loved and adored by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by sons, Barry Henry (Marci) and Danny Henry; grandchildren, Tiara Henry (Trevor), Addison Henry, Brayden Henry, Graceson Henry, and Noah Henry; great grandchildren, Sierra, Avery, and Riley; sister, Bonnie Zucchi (Dan); brother, David O'Shields; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her, sister-in-law Linda O'Shields.
Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Peters Creek Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peters Creek Baptist Church, 972 Shoals Creek Church Rd, Easley, SC, 29640.
