Kaplan, Deborah, 76, passed away on Monday December 22, 2025, in her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Murray Kaplan for 57 years.

Deborah was born in Providence, RI and was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Goldman) Yuloff, she had lived in North Scituate since 1980, previously living in Cranston. She started her career at Rhode Island Hospital Trust National Bank and eventually became co-owner of the former Rainbow Bakery in Cranston, Rhode Island with her husband Murray. Deborah was a former member of Temple Emanu-El, helping as a volunteer. She also was a lifetime member of Hadassah and the Rhode Island Women in Business Organization.

Deborah was the devoted mother of Scott Kaplan and his wife Heather of North Scituate, RI and granddaughter Marielle Kaplan of Irvine, CA, Melissa Kaplan of Norwich, CT, and Anne R Kaplan and her husband Ronald Pacciano of Bardonia, NY and grandson Benjamin Kaplan.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday December 24th at 11:00 am at the Shalom Memorial Chapel, 1100 New London Ave, Cranston, RI. Shiva will be observed at her family residence, 112 Sandy Brook Rd in Glocester, RI on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Hope Alzheimer's Center 25 Brayton Ave. Cranston, RI 02920.
