Hello Lynch and Kowalski family. I was married to david Wandke (he passed in 2013) and live in the northern woods of Wisconsin. i am in CT right now so I missed the funeral. I sent a card from here to Lucille Wandke to bring to the funeral and apparently it took a very long to get there, days after the funeral.
Please accept my sympathy for your loss. We didn't connect that often with our families but usually kept abreast of what was going on with that side of the family. Some days it will feel like she just passed away and other times it will seem like it was years ago.
Grieve on your own terms, everyone is different. There are no rules to grieving so take time to go through all the steps. That's all I can offer in support having lost my mom and husband within a year and a half. Lean on God.

Dear Heather, Nathan and family,
It has been such a joy to have known your Mom for so many years.
(And your Dad, Nathan..."Uncle Chris" as he was called by us and our children!)
Both of them will be greatly missed.
Your Mom's sweet smile, bright blue eyes and gentle spirit will never be forgotten.
In my mind, I can still see both Debbie and Chris standing at the main Sanctuary doors with my in-laws
greeting guests as they arrived at church on Sunday mornings.
The two of them served in many ministries together. Such a genuinely caring couple.
I enjoyed singing with your Mom in Choir and in Musicals. It was so much fun.
And I enjoyed hugging her and catching up with her on Sunday mornings, as she waited in the hallway for her ride.
She so was proud of you both, and for your darling family - Heather.
Debbie's sweet presence will be deeply missed by so many of us.
Even though our hearts are so heavy with such grief right now, I know - because of Jesus's sacrifice for us and his promise, we will see Debbie again in heaven!
Our love to you.
Shannon and Kirk, Brandon and Toria

Dear Heather and Nathan, I was heartbroken to hear of the passing of your mother and wanted you to know you are in our prayers. Your mother had a heart of gold and your father was a very dedicated ministry teacher. I will never forget the love they had for God and for others. So wish we could be there tomorrow. Hugs and love, Kevin and Linda Barry
