Deborah Niewold, age 88, of Springfield, IL, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Springfield Suites in Springfield, Illinois.
She was born March 20, 1936 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Esther (Mueller) Dixon.
Mourning her passing are four children, Craig (Jackie) French, Nikki French – Perry, Zack (Alicia) Niewold, Jake Niewold; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Joe Keyzer.
She is preceded in death by two daughters, Janet Parkhurst and Kara Lynn Keyzer.
Deborah was a trained ballerina, loved cars, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved eating out and shopping with friends and family. Deborah had a special place in her heart for animals, especially for cats, dogs, and horses. She also loved listening to music.
Cremation rites will be accorded. No services will be held.
