I knew Ope from when we grew up in church together. I remember visiting their home and playing with her and her two sisters. We used to make funny jokes about how my sisters and her own sisters are alike. I have two sisters as well. And we will joke about how Ope was like my own sister who happens to also be named Ope and how I was like Mayowa and how Ibukun was like Bolu. Opeyemi, this feels like a bad dream, it just feels like some people aren't supposed to die, you're one of those people. You were like baby sister to me, you were so kind and so sweet, with the aura of peace, like that of an Angel. I hope you're smiling down from heaven knowing you were thoroughly loved. RIP my sweet Angel . Heaven gained the most precious girl. You're with Jesus, that's our comfort.

My baby girl , I still can´t believe you´re gone. I´ve checked your ig page a million times. I went to see your mom today and it´s all still like a dream, a very bad dream.
I want you to know that you are loved and cherished and you would be missed dearly, your gentle countenance, your soft voice, your beautiful smile.
If only our tears could bring you back but they can´t and only God knows best. I have only little comfort that you are with our father in Heaven and we would someday see again. I know Heaven has gained an Angel. May your sweet, beautiful and gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

Oh Ope!
I can't believe you're not here anymore.I can´t believe I´m even writing this. This feels so unreal. I'm so happy I got to meet her. I'm so happy I got to talk to her this year, I'm so happy I had that dream that made me finally check up on you. I wish I even spoke more, I just thought there was still so much time Oh God. I can't still believe it. She was definitely one of the nicest people l've ever met. Going through our chats and she was always so helpful. God what did Ope not help me with. It even seemed like I was bothering her. I'm so annoyed I didn't talk to her more. God Ope had such a beautiful, caring soul and I can't believe I won't see her name pop up again. She´s just always there for you, I´m so sad that I won´t get to see her uplifting and funny replies any time I post, God!! May her beautiful soul rest in peace. I´ll miss seeing your beautiful face on my timeline Ope. Till we meet again

I can't pick a single memory with Ope as a favorite. She was the nicest, sweetest, most thoughtful person I ever met. Every moment I spent with her was precious to me. She was and will forever be precious to me. I am grieving a friend that was like a sister to me, but I can't imagine how her actual relatives feel. My sincerest condolences in these times. I pray God gives all of us strength.
