Deborah D. Oszkandy, 74, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away on February 6, 2026 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born on September 30, 1951in Chicago to Richard and Audrey McKee.
Deborah was a very caring person who loved Christmas time so much. She also loved taking vacations like family trips to the Dells with her grandchildren, many exciting times to Las Vegas, and going to Shipshewana, Indiana to buy all kinds of treasures with her best friend Nora.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 48 years Chester; her children Kathryn Oszkandy, Jennifer Dennis, and Christopher Oszkandy; her grandchildren Lee, Ashlee, and Sean Dennis; her siblings Joan Utter, Melinda (Arne Utke) McKee, Patricia Borgstrom, Mark (Emily) McKee; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and her puppy dog Jax. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Audrey Mckee and her siblings Marilyn and Roger McKee.
A Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 6pm until 8pm with a funeral service beginning at 8pm. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
