Deborah Ann Harper Penn, 67, of Winnsboro passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late LC Harper and Clara Truesdale Hammons.
Deborah is survived by her two sons, Marvin Gibson (April), and Nicholas Penn (Alondra); sister, Susan Mincey; three grandchildren, Kandice, Alyssa, and Xander Gibson; one great grandchild, Tate Williamson; one niece, Lacy Melvin (Wes); one great nephew, Cole Melvin; one great niece, Molly Kate Melvin, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Deborah is predeceased by her granddaughter, Summer Gibson.
A memorial service with committal will be held at 11:00 Am Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Stephen Greene Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro. The family will receive friends after the service by the graveside.

I am saddened to hear of Debbie's death. She was a pleasure to work with at the SC Dept. of Education. She was always helpful and always had a smile on her face. My sincere condolences to her family.

Ms. Debbie was a joy to work with. She was always kind and accommodating and never met me without a smile. I am saddened by her loss and pray for the comfort of her family and friends.
