Seminole, OK resident Deborah Jo Smith passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 in Seminole at the age of 73. Deborah was born on June 17, 1952 in Tulsa, OK to Doyle Sandafer and Shirley Ann Boen. She married William Lawrence Smith Jr. on October 26, 1996 in Wichita, KS. Deborah was a beloved mother and will be missed by her son and daughter.
Deborah is survived by her son, Michael Hughes; daughter, Teresa Wilkerson; two sisters, Vickie Curry and Sherry Lafond; grandchildren, Tommy Wilson, Dakota Kirkpatrick, Dallas Kirkpatrick and Brandon Holliday and many great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; husband and daughter, Shelbree Wilson.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
