Kulpmont – Deborah S. Stewart, 70, of 913 Scott Street, passed away on November 26, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, where she had been hospitalized on and off since August of this year.

She was born in East Meadow, Long Island, NY, on August 21, 1955, the daughter of Henry and Thelma (Sellinger) Stewart.

Deborah was a graduate of Division Avenue High School in Levittown, NY. She later lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL, until moving to Kulpmont, PA, in 2019.

She was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels. Deborah loved working on jigsaw puzzles, playing BINGO, and visiting casinos, where she was often a big winner. She adored animals and cared for several pets throughout her life.

Known for her humor and natural ability to entertain, Deborah brought joy to everyone around her. She deeply loved her large family and cherished spending time together during holidays and gatherings. Deborah was an unforgettable woman whose kindness and generosity touched everyone she knew. She never hesitated to give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. She cherished staying connected with her family and friends, often calling just to check in or share a laugh.

Deborah is survived by two sisters, Toni Phillipine of Kulpmont and Jan Stewart of Coal Twp.; a brother, David (Ann) Stewart of Commack, NY; three sisters-in-law, Lori Stewart of Babylon, NY, Roni Stewart of Richmond, VA, and Jane Vlokhos of FL; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, great-great-great nieces, and great-great-great nephews. In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by three brothers, Mitch Stewart, Billy Stewart, and Herb Vlokhos; two sisters, Sandy Chase and Micky Gardner; and her most recent companion, her beloved dog Dozer.

All are invited to a Mass on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont, PA. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont, PA 17834.
