My heartfelt condolences to her family. She loved you dearly. She loved spending time with loved ones. I was shocked and saddened to learn of Deborah’s passing. We worked together for many years and became truly good friends. She was an angel and a dynamo. I called her the Energizer Bunny because she never slowed down. She loved to do and give. Always thinking of others and how she could help. When I moved to Ellijay she was one of my very few city friends who would drive this far to visit me. She was very positive and cheerful. She didn’t complain. She made a difference. I was out of touch for a while due to a serious health issue. I knew if I told Deborah she would be burning up the highway to help. I hope she knew how much I love and admire her. I can’t believe her good heart has been stilled. Such a tremendous loss on earth, but I’m sure she has lit up heaven. I miss you terribly, but I know I’ll see you soon.

I rented a property from Deborah for several years. She was always kind, fair, spunky! I used to enjoy when she´d pop by to help fix something or just for conversation. She was a great women and I´m heartbroken to hear of her passing. Sending condolences and love to her family during this time.

Our hearts are broken that Deborah has passed on, but we are better people for having known her. She was one of the most kind, funny, and giving people we´ve ever met - an amazing friend and neighbor. When we first moved into the neighborhood, she was the first person to welcome us and bring us baked goods. She gave toys to our dog from one of the rental houses she was cleaning out. Our friendship blossomed over the past 3 years between lunches and gatherings at our house. She always joked about taking an uber to come up to our house even though she lived 3 doors down. We were so honored and happy that she could be at our wedding earlier this year in Douglasville. We will miss her greatly and think of her often. We are thinking of her family during this time and sending our prayers and condolences.

When we moved in across the street in 2021, she was the first person we met. She was so welcoming and made us feel like family. She quickly became a Babci to our little one who absolutely adored her. I will miss their shout game version of Marco Polo - "Babci" he´d shout - "Levi" would be the response from across the street and then he would just giggle. Losing her will leave a hole in our lives and hearts forever. She was loved and will be missed.
