Deborah Cable Suppa, 70, of Warren, PA., died Sunday, September 29, 2024, at her daughter's residence, surrounded by her family, after a long-fought battle with cancer. She was born July 28, 1954, in Warren, PA. Debbie was the daughter of Paul W. and Delores Buerkle Cable. She was a lifelong Warren area resident. Debbie was a 1972 graduate of Warren Area High School and Seneca School of Nursing, where she graduated as a license practical nurse. She was employed at Warren General Hospital, W.C.A. Hospital of Jamestown, N.Y. and Dr. Vogus's office. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, and Warren American Legion Post 135 Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children – Paul Morell and wife, Michelle of Elizabethton, TN., Christine Conti and husband, J.B. of Stockton, N.Y., Andrew Morell of Dover, N.H., 2 Siblings – Steven Cable and wife, Anne of. McKinney, TX., Barbara Niehl and husband, James of Pittsfield, PA., Uncle – Robert "Bob" Buerkle of Warren, PA., 5 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Peter J. Suppa, who died April 17, 2014, whom she married July 22, 1995, in Warren, PA., 1 Sister – Sandy Ponick, 1 nephew – Alan Little.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 6 to 8 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at First Lutheran Church, 109 W. Third Avenue, Warren, PA., on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Warren, PA., Those wishing to place memorials may do so through the Warren Cancer Center, 2 Crescent Park, Warren, PA. 16365, or a charity of one's choice.
