It is with great sadness to announce that our dear Deborah (Debbie) Louise Wallace, 74, who passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 5th, 2026. She was surrounded by her husband and family.
Debbie, the first of two children, was born on May 5th, 1951, to George Paul Weathers and Mildred Louise Henry Weathers in Waco, Texas. Debbie graduated from Waco High School in 1969. After graduating, she met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Mark Wallace. They married on August 18th, 1978.
Debbie was bright, quick-witted, fun-loving, energetic, adventuresome, and an active individual with many interests. Over the years, her work included various oil field service companies, which led to her retirement.
Debbie and Bob lived in Oklahoma City until 2009, when they moved to Port Aransas, Texas, where they lived in Port Aransas until 2024. Debbie and Bob were very active with the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Port Aransas. Debbie also volunteered many hours at the local food pantry on the Island and became part of a group called the RHPA (Real Housewives of Port Aransas), where she made many great friendships.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Robert (Bob) Wallace; daughter Shannon Dainels; daughter Kelly Mutzig and husband Jody; and her cherished grandchildren Laci Dainels and Kenzi Mutzig. Debbie is also survived by her brother, Paul (Cindy) Weathers, and sister-in-law Ann Rooney.
A holy rosary will be on Monday, January 12th, 2026, at 6:00 pm at Smith & Kernke (14624 N. May Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73134). A funeral Mass will be held to celebrate Debbie’s life at 10:30 am Tuesday, January 13th, 2026, at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church (7336 W Britton Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church.
