Deborah Ann Wenderski, a cherished soul whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, in Dearborn, MI, at the age of 71. Born on May 19, 1954, in Ypsilanti, MI, Deborah was a beacon of love and joy to all who knew her.
As the loving daughter of the late Jerome and Mae Hoelscher, Deborah inherited a sense of strength and compassion that she carried throughout her life. She found her life partner in Ron Wenderski, and together they built a family founded on love and mutual respect. Deborah was a devoted mother to Trishalana (Andrea Young) Wenderski, Robert Wenderski, Joanne (Doug) Fields, and she held a special place in her heart for her late daughter Cindy Wenderski. Her role as a sister was fulfilled with grace and care alongside Bonnie, Doris, Cathy, Pat, and she fondly remembered her late brothers Jay and Danny.
Deborah's joy was multiplied as she became a grandmother to Kayla, Ronnie, Jesse, Scott, Justin, and Stephanie, and she was overjoyed to be a great-grandmother to Wyatt and Makena. Her nurturing spirit and loving guidance were gifts that she bestowed upon each of them. She was also blessed with a lifelong friendship with her niece Gail Barger, whose companionship provided countless memories filled with laughter and support.
Throughout her career as a Hi-lo Driver at Ford Motor Company, Deborah was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. Her involvement in her work community was marked by her willingness to lend a helping hand and her ability to bring a smile to her colleagues' faces even on the busiest of days.
Deborah's interests painted the picture of a woman who embraced life's simple pleasures with enthusiasm. She was an avid dancer, moving rhythmically to the tunes of Elvis and Bob Seger, who were among her favorite artists. Her talent in the kitchen was unparalleled; she was a fantastic cook whose dishes were the highlight of family gatherings. Those lucky enough to taste her creations will forever remember the love infused in every bite.
Bowling was another pastime Deborah enjoyed, where her competitive spirit and friendly nature made her a favorite among her teammates. Those who knew Deborah would describe her as loving and kind, words that only begin to capture the essence of her character. She was helpful beyond measure, nurturing to all, and her capacity to love was boundless. Deborah had the rare ability to light up a room with her presence and could effortlessly bring a smile to anyone's face.
Above all, Deborah's deep love for her family was the cornerstone of her life. She provided a foundation of support and affection that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.
