Deborah “Debbie” Sue West, 68, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2025.
Born on August 16, 1956, in Columbus, Debbie spent most of her life in the city she called home. She was the daughter of the late Harold Linley and Thelma Jean Linley (Black), and she carried their memory with her throughout her life. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Rose Davis.
Debbie is survived by her devoted husband, Earl West; her children, Eric Linley, Rene Bell (Jared), and Kelli West (Ian); and her beloved grandchildren: Sophia Bell, Damian West, Quentin Mounts, and Lily Mounts. She is also survived by her siblings: Theresa Tasior (Mike), Mike Linley, Cindy Linley (Duane), Mark Linley (Wendy), and Beth Chamberlin (Rob); her sister-in-law Shannon West; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
Debbie had a big heart and a giving spirit. She was always ready to help those in need and never hesitated to offer kindness and comfort to others. She found joy in the simple things—watching cartoons, caring for her cats, and being surrounded by the people she loved.
Her love was constant, her laughter unforgettable, and her presence irreplaceable.
