Obituary published on Legacy.com by A Natural State Funeral Service & Crematory on Nov. 18, 2025.
In Loving Memory of Debra K Crabtree June 4, 1956 – November 6, 2025. Debra was a loving mother of two, Sebastian Crabtree and David Huff, and a Grandmama of six, Ciera Crabtree, Zoey Crabtree, Alayna Crabtree, Ella Clark, Raylen Clark, and Lilah Clark.
Debra was born on June 4, 1956, to mother, Rosa Theresa Harris, and father, Paul Charles Crabtree. Debra has an older brother Paul Crabtree and two younger siblings, Ronald Crabtree and Denise Crabtree.
Debra was a loving and free-spirited woman who loved above everything her family and elephants. Debra had many passions. She loved fast cars and motorcycles to which she owned many over the years. Her love for traveling took her to one of her lifelong dreams Paris, France. Her love for dancing never kept her away from the dance floor. Through the luck of a radio contest, she was able to ride an elephant down the streets of Little Rock, AR. Debra loved her job at Fedex, where she was a courier for twenty-five years, and then moved into customer service where she worked the remainder of her years before retiring.
On May 1, 1977, Debra had her first child which she named Sebastian. This was a name she picked for her first born well before conception. Two years later, on June 13, 1979, she would have her second son, David, with her high school sweetheart, David Huff.
Debra's career at Fedex had her working very long hours from week to week, but that never kept her from spending time with her two loving sons. Even though the weekly hours were long, the weekends were all about family time. There was never a Saturday night that did not involve music and board games with her boys.
Her son Sebastian was the grandchild provider, and the person who gave her the title Grandmama. On September 1, 1997, this title was given to her by the first of six, Ciera Crabtree. Ciera may have been the first but not the last. Ciera was followed by Zoey Crabtree June 13, 2001, Alayna Crabtree July 18, 2005, Ella Clark February 25, 2014, Raylen Clark June 8, 2018, and Lilah Clark May 19, 2025. Over the years Debra never missed a moment to spend time with and spoil her grandchildren.
David was the son that followed in her free-spirited footsteps. David is a talented bass guitarist, which landed him in his first band Primo, followed by his second band Bear Colony. Debra was so proud of her musically gifted son. She never missed a chance to be around when they practiced, and she was at every concert they played.
Debra lived her final six years in the best possible way. She moved in with her son, Sebastian. Every day she enjoyed living her life exactly the way she wanted. She got to see, interact, and play with all her grandchildren. Living in the house with her grandchildren gave her the ability to watch them grow every day and never miss a moment. David also lived close, which gave her the ability to spend weekly visits with him as well.
Debra touched so many lives over the years. Her care-free attitude, loving personality, and passion for everything she loved were impactful on everyone she knew. Debra will never be forgotten, and she will continue to live on in all their hearts forever.
