Debra L. Davis (Debbie), 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on February 21, 2026. She was born and raised in South Holland, Illinois, to parents, Roland and Doris (Appelgren) Nelson.
Debbie was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother (Mimi), sister, aunt, and friend. She was always smiling and a joy to all who knew her. Her outgoing nature allowed her to make friends easily, and she worked hard to maintain those friendships for her entire life. Debbie loved being outside and gardening was one of her passions. She faced life with quiet resilience, and even in difficult moments, her love for her family never wavered. She will be deeply missed and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roland Nelson.
Debbie is survived by her husband, John Davis; daughter, Kristina Hindes (Ryan); son, Steven Davis; mother, Doris Nelson; sister, Lynn Conlin; brother Dave Nelson (Elizabeth Cardenas-Nelson); and her beloved grandsons, nieces and nephews.
