Debra Drews Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 22, 2025.
Debra Diane Drews, 73, of Spring, TX passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, surrounded by family at St Luke's Hospital in Houston, TX. She was born on November 30, 1952, in Temple, TX, to parents Marion and Jimmy Dixon. She grew up as a loving older sister and was an excellent student, graduating from Sam Houston High School in 1971.

In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Diane had a career in accounting and payroll, working at Exxon and then at ADP for many years until retiring in 2017. She made time to volunteer at the school PTA, kept the scorebook at her sons' little league games, and was a frequent blood donor.

Diane was known by everyone for her friendliness, kindness, sense of humor, and caring personality. She loved hosting and cooking for family gatherings, participating in Bunco with friends, and gardening - growing flowers and fruits and vegetables.

Diane is survived by her loving spouse Jerry; son John and daughter-in-law Maria, son Jason and daughter-in-law Jennifer; grandchildren Jacob and Juliet; sisters Donna and Terry; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Marion and her father Jimmy, along with her grandson Lucas. Diane was treasured by her entire family and will be missed by all who had the privilege of meeting and loving her.

A celebration of life service will be held at Cypress Creek Christian Church 6823 Cypresswood Dr Spring, TX 77379 on January 31st, 2026, from 1-3 pm.
