Debra Anne "Debbie" Eklund

Debra Anne Eklund (née Flynn) passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 63 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was born on June 1, 1960, in Nashua, New Hampshire. Debbie graduated from Dracut Senior High school in Dracut, Massachusetts, Class of 1978. Debbie was a kindhearted, gentle, and loving individual who embodied bravery, strength, resilience, and beauty throughout her life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and the best granny.

Debbie dedicated her career to being a Bookkeeper, showcasing her commitment to precision and organization. She will be remembered for her hard work and dedication in her professional endeavors.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce Eklund, her mother Victoria Torres and her husband Hector , her father Walter "Buddy" Flynn and his wife Nancy, her daughters Kayleigh Hudgins and spouse James Calfee, Carissa Halstead and husband Kenny and Noelle Eklund, her grandsons Alex Hudgins, Jackson Hudgins, and granddaughter Savannah Halstead, as well as her grandchild Baby Calfee, her brothers Gary Flynn and Shaun Flynn, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Flynn.

Visitation and services to honor Debbie's life will be held at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation's and Burial Services located at 281 Treeland Drive Ladson, SC 29456 on Friday March 29,2024 from 11am -1pm. The family requests that contributions can be made to the Kidney Foundation in memory of Debra Eklund.
