Debra L. Hash

HOLYOKE: Debra Louise Hash, 56, of Holyoke passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a 3 year battle with ovarian cancer on January 8, 2013. She was born in Holyoke on November 8, 1956, a daughter of Tommie and Constance (Wagner) Hash of Holyoke, and was a graduate of Holyoke High School Class of 1974. After graduation she was employed for 18 plus years by Steiger's Department Store. She then worked at OK Pet Supply and most recently was a Merchandise Manager at the Christmas Tree Shops in Holyoke. Besides her parents, Debra is survived by two brothers, William Hash of Enfield, CT and James Hash and his wife Tammy of Holyoke, a niece, Jackalyn Hash-Guenette and her husband Ian, three nephews, Steven Hash and his wife Katie, Peter Hash and Brian Hash and his wife Jocelyn. She also leaves behind her great nephew Lucas and many loving and supportive cousins. Debra will miss her phone calls of love and support from her good friend, Connie Leitl of FL. Her family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and Hospice Care at Baystate for their wonderful care and support. The Funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Debra's memory to D'Amour Cancer Center, 3350 Main Street, Springfield, MA 01199.
