Debra Jean Irvin, “Debbie” age 69 passed away on November 28, 2025 at home. Born April 16, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio. Debbie never met a stranger. She was always happy to brew a fresh pot of coffee and greet you with a smile and good conversation. Best known for her exceptional no-bake cookies, potato salad, and her loving desire to care for everyone around her. Debbie cherished spending time with her family and watching The Waltons, Andy Griffith, and The little house on the prairie.

Preceded in death by parents Harry Leo and Sandra (Leffler) Funk; husband Bill Irvin, sisters Katherine M. Funk, Melody Longworth Funk, and Rhonda Pemberton; niece Amy Paragon; sister-in-law Angie Funk; brother-in-law Mark Irvin, and great nephew Harley Poore. Survived by children Jason Funk, Lisa (Matt) Irvin, Chuck (Trish) Irvin, April (Brian) Richardson, and Christopher “Hoot” (Angela) Irvin; bonus children Nathaniel (Ashley) Hutton, and Kaitlyn Hutton. brother Christopher Funk; grandchildren Tyler, Sarah, Chad, Anna, Haley, Travis, Trevor, and Leland; great-grandchildren Maya, Nova, De’ Andre Jr, Harmyni, and Braisley. Special friends Eva Lowry and Jay Miller. Several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 12-2pm at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES Short North Chapel, 34 W 2nd Ave, Columbus, Oho 43201. Pastor Richard Jones officiating.
