66 year old, Debra J. Ketchem, of Highland, passed away on November 25, 2025.
On October 17, 1959, Debra was born to Jesse and Nellie (Bolton) Hobson in East Chicago, Indiana. She worked as a dietary aid at AMG Specialty Hospital. Debra enjoyed spending time with others, whether it was playing pool, softball, bowling, or card games. She was an avid Cubs fan. Debra’s favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandkids. She was the best Gamma ever.
Debra is survived by her life partner: Becky Knowles, son: Tom (Sarah) Ketchem Jr., grandchildren: Thomas Ketchem III, Julia Ketchem, siblings: Linda (Ken) Huddleston, Robert Hobson, Michael Hobson, Brenda Deal, Betty (Everett) Price, Sherry (David) Belcher, and best friend: Nancy Kammer.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Jimmy Hobson, Jerry Hobson, Steve Hobson, Richard Hobson, and sister: Pamela Whitworth.
Per Debra’s wishes cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
