Debra Miller Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 5, 2026.
Canfield--It is with great sadness that on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, Debra "Debbie" L. Miller passed away after a long illness with her family by her side.

Debbie was born on February 24, 1965 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Kent Miller and Carol Bookout Miller.

Debbie attended Youngstown State University and graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Radiology where she became an x-ray tech and worked there for many years. She finished the last several years of her career at Robinson Memorial. She took great pride in her work.

In her early years, Debbie was an exceptional high school athlete, excelling at volleyball, basketball and softball. She had a fondness for the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, hiking, camping, joyriding in her VW convertible and laying out in the sun. She also had a love for traveling throughout the United States, with Maine, Arizona, New Orleans and Hawaii being some of her favorite places to visit. Anyone who knew Debbie knew that she had a huge passion and love for animals. Over the years, her dogs and cats brought her great joy.

Besides her mother, Debbie leaves her brother, Deon (Christine) Miller and sister, Darla (Bruce) Mellott. Also cherishing her memory were her nephews Ryan and Brendan Miller, nephew Brock Mellott and niece Brooke Mellott. She further leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her friends Jill, Bobbie, Sue, Michelle and Chris C., who faithfully checked in on her.

The family wishes to thank the previous administration at Poland Village Assisted Living: Jason, Jackie, Kendra, Paula, Joyce, Amy and Kitty and her "resident family/friends," for their kindness and patience.

Per Deb's wishes there were no services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman.

Memorial contributions can be made to Angels for Animals 4750 West South Range Road, Canfield, Ohio 44406 or to send condolences to her mother, Carol, 10070 New Buffalo Road Canfield, Ohio 44406.

Family and friends are encouraged to offer prayers for the family and support via phone call, text or email or you may visit the Book of Memories at www.rossifunerals.com.
