Mrs. Read was born on January 16, 1956, in Springfield, Tennessee, to the late Clifton Rigsby & Inez Brooksher Allen. She worked in the aerospace industry and was a member of Cornerstone Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Read; and her twin infant brothers.
Survivors include her sons, Brian Dorris and Jason (Tammy) Dorris; sister, Jackie Dorris (Wayne Patterson); and 3 grandchildren.
