Debra Sue Richardson, of the Cadillac and Marion areas, gained her wings on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital. She was 71.
Debra was born on February 27, 1954 to Fred and Gladys Richardson, in Clare, MI. She was a graduate of Marion High School, Class of 1972. Debra spent her career working as a secretary. In her spare time, she could often be found spending time with her grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and close friends. She liked to cuddle her dogs, watch gunsmoke, attend church, and leave lipstick marks on all her grandkids. Debra enjoyed eating olives, iced tea, and her Jr. Whoppers.
Debra is survived by her loving children, Krista Gascoigne (Steven) and Justin Johnson (Rebecca); grandchildren, Brianna Routley (Michael), Chantelle Gascoigne, Shaylah Gascoigne, Sierra Johnson, Jaedyn Gascoigne, Phoebe Johnson, Chandler Johnson; great-grandchildren, Mickey Routley, Berri Houck, Dexter Routley, Felix May, Octavia Spears, Enzo Campos, Tatum Switalski, Nolan Olivier, Zaydia Mahoney, Ellie Campos; siblings, Bonnie Tenney, Yvonne Mitchell; two nieces; and many other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by infant daughter, Babygirl Johnson; niece Beth Ann Sheldon-Suli; and nephew, Fred Warren Bennett.
Debra has shared the Gift of Life with donation with Anatomy Gift Registry.
