Debra G. (Parker) Scheive, age 67, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 10, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of almost 50 years, Joe Scheive, son Joey (Whitney) Scheive, sister Pam (Dennis) Rose; mother-in-law Mary Ellen Scheive; numerous sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews, and the joy of her life, grandchildren, Wesley, Emma and Laney Scheive. Preceded in death by her parents Bud and Gaynell Parker, sister Kim Hendrickson, brothers Jim and Don Parker and father-in-law Jiggs Scheive.
Deb was a lover of nature. She was happiest with her feet in the dirt working on her flower beds, going to state parks with her husband or just observing the animals from the many feeders in her yard.
Deb was a long time member of the Lowell Church of Christ, where she touched the lives of many. Whether she was helping in the kids' classrooms or organizing the food pantry, she was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need.
A Celebration of Life to honor Deb will be on March 18, 2023, at 11:15 a.m. at the Lowell Church of Christ, 299 North Burr Street, Lowell, Indiana, with a luncheon to follow.
