Debra Sue Slutz

Debra Sue Slutz, age 71, of Oberlin, Ohio unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
She was born July 23, 1952 in Massillon, Ohio to the late, Robert and Marjorie (Dolan) Robinson. Debra was a graduate of Timken High School where she studied cosmetology. After enjoying a career in cosmetology, she enjoyed a long career and retired from American Airlines after more than 40 years service.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Sherry Robinson; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Kristle Slutz; son and his Fiancée, Brian Slutz and Sara Fish; stepchildren, RJ and Amy Slutz, and Kristen Perez; grandchildren, Rhett, Isaac, Jordan, Michael, Jonathan, Hannah, and Carson.
Debra was a loving mother, sister, grandma, friend, and devout Christian. Her greatest joy came from the simple things in life; whether it was having her family all together for dinner, watching football with her boys, or spending summer days by the pool, grilling, and having bonfires with her family.
She will be remembered for her unwavering love, selfless patience, blind compassion, and humble heart. To know her was to love her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Camden Baptist Church, 17901 OH-511, Wellington, OH 44090. A private burial and viewing service will be held at Sunset Hill Burial Park.
