Visitation will be held at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters, OK, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., with viewing beginning at 9:00 am that same morning.
Debra Lynn Stein was born in Cheyenne, OK to Donald Dean and Jessie Jenny (Crandall) Holley on July 6, 1960 and departed this life in Walters, OK on January 24, 2025 at the age of 64 years, 6 months, and 18 days.
Debbie grew up at Cheyenne, Cache and Lawton, OK. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice at Cameron University. She married Robert Joel Stein on November 25, 1986 in Wichita Falls, TX, making their home in Lawton. They have lived north of Walters for the past 3 years.
Debbie managed Lawton Recycling for 15 years and was appointed Head of Recycling by the Lawton City Council.
Debbie enjoyed watching the stars, learning, watching Jeopardy, fishing, traveling, and living the RV life. She enjoyed watching the True Crime Network, and loved history, nature, and her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Donald Holley, Jr.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Robert Stein of the home; a son Randy Stein and Jennifer of Lawton; 2 daughters, Sabrina Hoodenpyle and Zac of LeFlore, OK, and Samantha Belles of Indianapolis, IN; 3 sisters, Diana Twellman of Marlow, OK, Jennifer Alden of Lawton, OK and Carrie Salvucci of Boston, MA; 9 grandchildren, Tyler Stein, Joelynn Stein, Jessie Davis, Kendall Belles, Dylan Stein, Zane Hoodenpyle, Lily Hoodenpyle, Lana Hoodenpyle and Levi Hoodenpyle; other relatives and friends.
