Debra Ann Welk (Landolt), cherished wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, and devoted friend, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by close family members on May 5, 2025, at the age of 56.

Born in November of 1968, Deb grew up in rural Oshkosh. She attended Lourdes Academy (class of 1987) and obtained a degree in education from UW-Oshkosh. In 1991, Deb married her best friend and partner for life, Brian Welk. Together they built a home filled with laughter, faith, and unconditional love. A caring mother, Deb poured her heart into raising her two children. She dedicated herself to nurturing her strong Christian faith through Bible study, serving in her church community, and offering kindness and encouragement to all who crossed her path. Deb enjoyed spending time with her family and the solitude of fishing with her husband on the Wolf River.

Deb lives on through her beloved husband, Brian; her children, Hannah (Adam) Pulda and Casey Welk; grandchild Jadon Pulda; mother Joan Both; brothers Timothy (Cara) Landolt and Kenneth (Sara) Landolt, and many nieces, nephews, and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father Stephen Landolt and sister, Mary Beth Landolt, and grandparents Joseph and Esther (Ley) Landolt, and Andrew and Pauline (Krysiak) Humecki.

Deb's kind heart, warm smile, and steadfast faith touched all who knew her. She lived fully, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy of compassion, grace, and joy that will forever inspire those blessed to have known her. She will be deeply missed-and fondly remembered-by all whose lives she enriched. May she delight in her heavenly home with Jesus for all eternity.

An informal reception where family and friends can gather to honor Deb will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. at Appleton Gospel Church, 2900 N Mason St, Appleton, WI 54914. The family would appreciate flowers or donations be made in Deb's name to the Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease Foundation (cjdfoundation.org/donate).

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 NIV
