I am so saddened to learn of Debra´s passing. My love and prayers to all her family and friends. I worked with Debra at the McKinley schools for many years and she was such a wonderful person with such a huge heart and compassion for both students and staff. I loved her easy going spirit and her sense of humor.
I was so touched when I last saw her at my retirement celebration five years ago. She got up and spoke some very kind words which meant so much to me. I fondly remember when she brought her sweet Yorkies to a meeting I had with her at the King School. She loved those pups so much! I too ended up adopting a Yorkie and often think of Debbie. She so much loved her family and spoke of her activities with her nieces and nephews. Her involvement with the East Boston community was extraordinary and I am amazed at how much she contributed to so many in so many ways. She did so with such ease. Caring and kindness and service to others was in her whole being. She was a wonderful person and I am blessed to have known her, she will be sadly missed and never forgotten. May she rest easy, although she is likely continuing to watch over us and continue to do good works in heaven. God bless and much love.
