Salerno’s Funeral Home-Rosedale Chapel - RoselleWith heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Deby Tunzi on November 14, 2025 at the young age of 73. She lived a life of compassion, strength and deep devotion to her family. Deby shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with her soulmate Jim. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jim; her children James (Daisy), Anthony (Beth) and Chris (Kim); and her cherished grandchildren, Makyla, Antonio, Kendall and Elena , who lovingly called her “Grandma”:. She enjoyed baking, shopping and arts and crafts, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Through her recent health struggles, Deby fought with extraordinary courage. She fought not only for herself but also for her family, who she didn’t want to leave behind. Deby touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Her selflessness, warmth, and generous spirit will be remembered forever.
