Dedi Menegazzo

In Loving Memory
Dedi Menegazzo was born on November 27, 1970, in the city of Videira, in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, to the late Diva Araldi and Denir João Menegazzo, she passed away peacefully surrounded by friends in prayer on October 3, 2025, in Fairfax, VA USA.
A dedicated scholar, Dedi earned her bachelor's degree in economics from UNOESC – Universidade in Videira city where later she became a professor. In 1996, she moved to Virginia, where she built a beautiful life filled with purpose, faith, and friendship. She earned her Master and then PHD Business Finance here in the US.
Professionally, Dedi was passionate about her work as office manager and bookkeeping for a restaurant business conglomerate where she devoted 27 years of her career to her with passion and dedication.
Outside of work, Dedi's heart belonged to her beloved pugs-Runny and Princess (late); Hazel, who passed in November 2023 and will make her final journey with Dedi to rest together in Brazil; and Scarlet, her most recently adopted pug, who will be lovingly cared for by a close friend.
Dedi found joy in weekend hiking through nature, relaxing by the beach, and embracing the beauty of life's simple moments, she also loved crafting, teaching, and traveling the world.
She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Dácio Menegazzo; sister-in-law, Rose Valmorbida; nephew, Dácio Menegazzo Júnior; and her cherished grandnieces, Alícia and Antonella Menegazzo. Dedi also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were deeply touched by her kindness, love, and radiant spirit.
Her memory will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HART (Humane Animal Rescue Team) https://hart90.org/, a no-kill animal shelter, in honor of Dedi's love and compassion for animals.
