Dee Ann Marie Cady, age 72, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She was born on May 22, 1953, in San Pedro, California. She graduated from Bellows Free Academy (BFA) in 1971 and attended Champlain College in Burlington, VT., Earning an associate in business administration upon graduating in 1973.
She worked in various sales and marketing positions in VT before eventually relocating to the southern California, San Diego area where she continued in her sales and marketing career. She again relocated to White Bear Lake, Minnesota, in 2007 until her death. Dee Ann will be remembered for her outgoing personality and love of animals through her pet dogs and cats.
She is survived by her brother David Cady Rushford, her partner of 15 years Alan Butler of White Bear Lake. She is also survived by her nephews Erik Cady of Rushford, Ivan Cady of Manchester, NH, Benton (Cherie) Cady of Andover, MN, Charles Cady of Alexandria, MN. She is also survived by her grandniece Charlotte, grandnephew Lawson, stepbrother Douglas (Delores) Willcox of North Bend, Nebraska.
Dee Ann was preceded in death by her mother Ardis Willcox, stepfather Robert Willcox and brother Paul Cady and sister in-law Charlene Cornelius Cady.
A memorial service will be held for Dee Ann on Saturday August 23, 2025, at
Hoff Celebration of Life Center
