Dee was born in Recklinghausen, Germany on July 1, 1950, a daughter of the late Harold and Renatta Rensing. She had worked for many years as a secretary and assistant athletic director for Haddam-Killingworth High School until retiring.
In addition to Paul, Dee is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Burton "Rob") Williams of Madison, and Jacqueline (Glenn) Ettere of Mahopac, NY; and her grandchildren, Cassandra and Carter Williams, and Ryder, Chase, Sage, and Skylar Ettere.
Dee was an avid tennis and pickleball player and loved to socialize with friends and family. Her smile would light up the room wherever she went.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday February 23, 2026 at 11:00 in St. Margaret Church, Madison. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
