Dee Lynn Steuben, age 86, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 9:25 pm on Monday January 27, 2025, at Miller’s Oak Pointe, Columbia City. Born on July 9, 1938, in Arkansas, she was the daughter of Paul and Marie (Dart) Holt.
Dee attended high school in California before moving to Pennsylvania and finally settling in Columbia City in 2010.
She enjoyed music, dancing, coloring, and home decorating.
Dee worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at several nursing homes in California and Nevada throughout her working career until retirement.
Survivors include her sister Patricia Alexander of Hastings, MI; nephew Paul Alexander of Columbia City; niece Audene (Keith) Kovach of Columbia City; great-niece Krista (Pat) Schuchman of Columbia City; great-nephews Charles (Savannah) Rector and Matthew Kovach, both of Columbia City; eight great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Audene Criddle.
A memorial gathering for Dee will be held at a later date.
