DeeAnn S. Thomas, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, departed this world on April 7, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on August 30, 1956, in Brownsville, Texas, DeeAnn's life was marked by an unwavering commitment to her family, her faith, and her passions.

DeeAnn was a woman whose heart was as vast as her presence. She easily made friends with strangers, welcoming each person with open arms and a warm smile. Her nurturing spirit drew people in, making them feel loved and valued. It was this remarkable ability to connect that made her a cherished member of the First Baptist Church in Kingsville, Texas, where she led the women’s Bible study. Her devotion to her church family and her love for God were palpable, guiding her actions and enriching the lives of those around her.

As a proud wife to her husband, Chip Thomas, for 36 wonderful years filled with cherished memories, DeeAnn thrived in her role as a mother to Jessica Allyse Thomas and Austin Skinner. Her children were her greatest joy, and she spent her life dedicated to providing them with unconditional love and support. Her legacy will forever live on in their hearts

DeeAnn had a passion for music — a talent that resonated through her life. As a gifted musician, she found pleasure in sharing her love of music with others. She also cherished her extensive doll collection, a passion that reflected her creative spirit and attention to detail.

DeeAnn's greatest accomplishments were marked by the love she bestowed upon her family and the strong bonds she built with friends and community members alike. The loss of DeeAnn leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered fondly for her warmth, her strength, and her unyielding love.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hardage and Patsy Parker, and her brother, Lee Parker.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Chip Thomas; daughter, Jessica Allyse Thomas; son, Austin Skinner; her sisters, Gaylynn (Gary) Tate and Pam (Rusty) Rush; and her nieces, Jennifer Kramer, Katie Ferguson, and Rachel Gossett, whom she loved deeply

Their legacy of love and resilience lives on through DeeAnn's remarkable life. Though she has left this earth, the impact of her kindness and her spirit will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have crossed her path.

A visitation for DeeAnn will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM, at First Baptist in Kingsville, Texas. A memorial service in DeeAnn's honor will take place the same day, starting at 10:00 AM.

As we mourn the passing of DeeAnn S. Thomas, let us celebrate the beautiful life she lived, the love she shared, and the light she brought into this world.
