Deidre Ravert Obituary
Born in Wilkes-Barre she was the daughter of Raymond G. Hummel Jr and Elizabeth Ann Ravert and step daughter of Ronald Rafalko. Deidre was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and worked as a certified nursing assistant at Riverstreet Manor and previously at Bonham Nursing Home, Hunlock Creek. She enjoyed spending time with family, exercising and martial arts. She loved working and taking care of the elderly and going to reapers revenge and watching scary movies.
Deidre was preceded in death by her brother Brett Hummel.
Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents and step father, are her children, Patrick DePiero and his wife Amber of Alaska, Faith DePiero of Hunlock Creek; sisters Debra Moran and her husband Brian of Edwardsville, Trina DeVa and her husband Tim of Nanticoke, Kayci Rafalko of Jenkins Township; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private family funeral services were held at the convenience of the family with interment in St. Vincent's Cemetery, Larksville.
Arrangements under the direction of the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, Larksville.

Work didn´t feel like work when Deidre was around. Her goofy, funny personality just brought so much joy. It was so easy to just be myself around her. I will always smile when I think of her. She was definitely one of a kind and will always be part of my heart.

Deidre was always so kind to me, and she was such a funny person to be around when you needed a laugh! One of my favorite memories is when she nicknamed my dog "Ebenezer". She just randomly called him that one day and he loved it, and walked over to her for pets, tail wagging, every time. We will both really miss her laugh and her smile.
